Friends of the Pang and Kennet Valleys
The Friends exist to support the Pang, Kennet & Lambourn Valleys Countryside Project. But we also learn and get to have a lot of fun while we do so.
A ’Friends’ guided walk
When you join the friends there is a Ł10 annual subscription. This entitles you to a copy of the quarterly ‘Upstream’ newsletter. The newsletter helps us tp keep in touch with all of the social and conservation activities that are going on throughout the Pang, Kennet & Lambourn valleys. We organise regular walks guided by a knowledgeable leader to look at different parts of the valleys.

We organise talks on natural and local history to help you understand the natural and man-made heritage of this fascinating area. We hold frequent social events such as Barn Dances, skittles evenings and quizzes where you can meet friendly and like-minded folk.
A social evening
If you are new to the valleys or would like to increase your awareness of the area and make new friends – give the Project office a ring and come and try out the next event!
